About Upper Deck:
The Upper Deck Company LLC was founded in 1988 in California and was granted an MLB license to create and sell trading cards, which they promptly did just a few months later. Today Upper Deck Holds the Sole license to make NHL Hockey Cards with the UD and O-Pee-Chee Branding. Upper Deck also owns Yu-Gi-Oh which they acquired from Konami in 2002 and serveral others including Marvel, Avatar and Pirates of the Caribbean partnerships.
