Notes: Marvel continues to keep the identity of the writer of this series a secret. The most commonly circulated rumor is that Howard Mackie was writing the series as "X" but he has denied this. Another theory postulates that the mystery writer might be Grant Morrison as he spoke of wanting to write a comic anonymously and this series began the same month he took over as head writer for the X-Men. The single most obvious clue may be the fact that the face on the poster of issue #1 looks like a slightly distorted image of Grant Morrison's face. |
