2023 Topps Xpectations Baseball Cards

Using an earlier style from the year 2000's we have some real Xpectations for this product, sadly it has sold out quickly online but look for it on eBay if you would like a box, the original price was $200 so expect to pay a little more. After 20 years of dormancy, Topps has brought the rookie-centric Xpectations brand back to life, exchanging the hardwood for the diamond. Look for a compelling checklist made up of fresh-faced MLB newcomers and seasoned veterans alike. All cards are numbered /99 or less, feature cutting-edge foil treatments, and are printed on premium, 48pt. stock.

Did You Know?
The Topps Company, Inc. was founded way back in 1938 in Brooklyn New York but can be traced back even further as a Tobacco company in 1890. Early on they created Bazooka bubble gum which had a comic on the wrapper, to increase sales they started selling the gum with trading cards. Along the way they aquired Bowman who were also selling cards with gum and several other non sports style cards like Garbage Pail Kids and Wacky Packages to name a few. In 2026 the Fanatics company will take over the license for Major League Baseball cards from Topps.

Major League Baseball was founded way back in 1876 for the National Leage and later on came the American League in 1901. Today the league consists of 30 teams with 29 in the United States and one in Canada.
