2023 Topps Brooklyn Collection Baseball Cards

This is one of the online only products where the Montgomery Club gets first dibs on the day before and then it opens up to the general public the day after. These boxes are $200 each which is up from $150 on the previous years and feature some nice retro designs and a lineup of great players. Getting back to our Brooklyn roots once again, 2023 Brooklyn Collection explores what made Topps designs of the past so great, with an inspired offering of premium retro style designs showcasing the best that baseball has to offer. Look for 2 on-card autographs per box, and keep an eye out for rare 60 Broadway Die-Cut Variations paying homage to one of Topps’ original headquarters in Kings County. Sales are limited to just 4 boxes per household and you can order from the Official Topps Page.

Did You Know?
The Topps Company, Inc. was founded way back in 1938 in Brooklyn New York but can be traced back even further as a Tobacco company in 1890. Early on they created Bazooka bubble gum which had a comic on the wrapper, to increase sales they started selling the gum with trading cards. Along the way they aquired Bowman who were also selling cards with gum and several other non sports style cards like Garbage Pail Kids and Wacky Packages to name a few. In 2026 the Fanatics company will take over the license for Major League Baseball cards from Topps.

Major League Baseball was founded way back in 1876 for the National Leage and later on came the American League in 1901. Today the league consists of 30 teams with 29 in the United States and one in Canada.
